In Photos | 43rd ALCUCOA Capability Training

The City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) continues to demonstrate its commitment to quality education through its participation in the 43rd ALCUCOA Capability Training, currently being held at DCCCO Hotel, Dumaguete City, from June 17โ€“19, 2026, with the theme "Curriculum Design and Alignment."

Representing the institution are College President Dr. Roger S. Ambida, together with Ms. Ma. Floresa L. Mendoza, Vice President for Administration, and Ms. Guinevere S. Feliciano, Director of the Student Records and Management Office.

The three-day training consists of three sessions on Day 1, four sessions on Day 2, and two sessions on Day 3. These sessions are facilitated by Dr. Ronald Allan S. Mabunga, Professor VI and former administrator of various academic and quality assurance offices in both Marikina Polytechnic College and Philippine Normal University.

The participation of the institution's leadership in this significant event reflects CCSJDM's steadfast commitment to the curriculum development and to advance the quality education that ensures both the institution and its students remain prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the future.

In Photos | 4th NSTP Graduation Ceremony

The City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) successfully concluded the 4th NSTP Graduation Ceremony today, June 16, 2026, at the City Sports Complex, emphasizing the importance of this program not only for students but for all citizens.

NSTP Director Mr. Gilbert S. Ducusin formally opened the event, expressing gratitude for the year that has passed and pride in the students as they step forward to new beginnings, equipped with the skills and values instilled in them. This was followed by an inspiring message from Dr. Roger S. Ambida, College President, who encouraged the graduates to take pride in completing this program, reminding them that success in life is not measured solely by academic achievements but also by service, discipline, and civic responsibility.

Also present in this significant occasion were distinguished guests who shared their support and encouragement: Hon. Irene Biteng, Barangay Captain of Minuyan Proper; Ms. Rachel Ann C. Casido Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the School of Arts and Science; Dr. Ryan Jay C. Dayao, Vice President for Research and Innovation and Internalization; and Mr. Ronald T. Resuello, JD, MM, MEM, EdD Data Privacy Officer. Their presence illustrates the collaborative spirit of leadership and community in guiding students toward meaningful service and success.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Local Government Unit (LGU), led by Hon. Mayor Florida Robes and Hon. Congressman Arthur Robes, for their unending support that remains ever-present in every endeavor undertaken by the City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM). Their steadfast commitment keeps on empowering our institution and inspires our students to pursue excellence in both academics and service.

Today, June 10, 2026, the City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM), represented by College President Dr. Roger S. Ambida, joined the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in celebrating its 32nd Anniversary through the Strategic Partnership Convergence held in Pasay City.

Carrying the theme, "๐‘บ๐’•๐’“๐’‚๐’•๐’†๐’ˆ๐’Š๐’„ ๐‘ท๐’‚๐’“๐’•๐’๐’†๐’“๐’”๐’‰๐’Š๐’‘ ๐‘ช๐’๐’๐’—๐’†๐’“๐’ˆ๐’†๐’๐’„๐’†," the event focused on reforms, collaboration, and CHED's renewed mission in strengthening higher education in the Philippines. It emphasized the expansion of scholarship and financial assistance programs, internationalization efforts, industry-academe partnerships, and the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

During the program, Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari, Commissioner of CHED, delivered the Welcome Remarks, while Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, CHED Chairperson, presented the State of Higher Education Address entitled "ACHIEVE-ing Knowledge Economy for a Future-Ready Bagong Pilipinas," highlighting the agency's accomplishments and continuing commitment to educational excellence and national development.

Last June 9, 2026, the City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) successfully conducted its Testimonial Dinner at the City of San Jose del Monte Convention Center, Bulacan. Honorees, with their proud parents, were recognized and celebrated from the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED), Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE), and Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BS Crim) who passed their respective licensure examinations.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Mayor Florida Robes and Hon. Congressman Arthur Robes for making time to attend despite their demanding schedules. Their presence reflected their never-ending support for the institution and their pride in the accomplishments of the graduates, much like the parents who continuously guide and encourage their children. Their messages inspired everyone as they recalled the journey of CCSJDM from its foundation to becoming an institution that empowers countless individuals to pursue their dreams and reach greater heights. Present also were the College President Dr. Roger S. Reina Rhodora (Yna) Capa-Salentes. We recognize these distinguished guests who played significant roles in the establishment and growth of the City College. As they reflected on the institution's humble beginnings, they expressed pride and joy over the achievements of the honorees, whose success stands as a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and hard work.

The gathering was further enriched by the heartfelt words of gratitude shared by selected awardees: Wendy H. De Andres, LPT, a March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers passer from BPE; Joanna Marie L. Gajudo, RCrim, an August 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination passer from BS Crim; and Lee Margia B. Ripalda, LPT, a September 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers passer from BECED. Their stories stood as living testimonies that success is attainable through perseverance, determination, faith, and the support of people who genuinely believe in one's potential.

As the evening concluded by warm messages from Ms. Marylyn S. Anatalio, Dean of School of Education and Dr. Felix L. Valdueza, Dean of School of Criminal Justice, the celebration served not only as a recognition of academic and professional achievement but also as a reminder that every success is built upon hard work, sacrifice, and the collective support of a community committed to nurturing future professionals. The City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) proudly participated in the ALCUCOA Summer Camp 2026 held on June 6โ€“7, 2026, at Angels' Hills, Tagaytay, with the theme, โ€œRaising the Bar, Elevating QA Together.โ€

Representing the College was Dr. Roger S. Ambida, College President, alongside administrators and officials from various Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) across the country. The event served as a valuable platform for collaboration, professional development, and the sharing of best practices in quality assurance and institutional excellence.

A highlight of the program was the Professional Enrichment Session, โ€œThe Culture of Quality: Inspiring Growth, Ensuring Results,โ€ delivered by Dr. Leah S. Corpuz, CEO and Lead Trainer of LASC Learning Solution. Participants also engaged in an Accreditation Instrument Review Workshop, strengthening their understanding of accreditation standards and quality assurance mechanisms.

The second day featured an Ecumenical Fellowship and Servant Leadership Formation led by Bro. Tom Quijano, National Servants Coordinator of the Live Christ, Share Christ (LCSC) Movement, emphasizing values-based leadership and service. The program concluded with a city tour, fostering camaraderie and meaningful networking among participants.

Ambida proudly joined the Monthly First Monday Flag Ceremony held today at the City Convention Center, highlighted by the recognition and commemoration of the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) board passers, whose achievements reflect the institutionโ€™s commitment to academic excellence and professional competence.

Also recognized during the program were the prestigious World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026 Awards received by the College, affirming CCSJDMโ€™s growing impact in innovation, education, and community development on the global stage.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of City Mayor Hon. Florida P. Robes, together with City Vice Mayor Hon.
