Maharishi Vedic University of Cambodia (MVU) The university is run by Cambodian Government appointed administrators and foreign specialists and advisors.

Maharishi Vedic University was established in 1991 as a joint venture between the Ministry of Education of the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Australian Aid for Cambodia Fund (AACF).
