Several of our teacher leaders helped with this great project to help guest teachers be prepared to teach physical education. Check it out this video for new or guest middle school teachers.
California Physical Education-Health Project helped create micro-learning videos with California Collaborative for Educational Excellence. Kimberly Steffen is a physical education teacher in the Hayward Unified School District and also a teacher leader with the Bay Area Physical Education and Health Project Bay Area Physical Education-Health Project. In this video, she shares best practices and tips for anyone wishing to teach Middle School P.E. (This is the third video of the four-part Physical Education video collection & comes with a PDF sample lesson!)
