Konnichiwa Minna! Grading is currently locked in for the 6th of June, two weeks from now.

If you would like to grade please make sure you attend training before then as Sensei will want to see your progress first!

For grading please make sure you do the following on the night:

Bring Your current Belt and Gi and make sure your club badge is sewn on properly.

Bring 2 Litres of water or isotonic drink - You will not have the time to run down to the bubblers and you will be sweating a lot! Also try to avoid eating from about 2 hours before grading or you will feel ill!

Bring all your Sparring Gear! Mouth guard, groin or chest protector, gloves, and shin/instep protectors are required for anyone above white belt!

Bring your Grading Forms! If you need a form Maria-Senpai or myself will bring spares to training. These must be submitted and grading fees paid before Grading night!

Finally; Bring a good attitude! We're here to have fun but we must also show the proper respect and etiquette to the dojo and each other!

NB: Also to reiterate Sensei's point last night. Please make sure your uniform is clean, make sure you wear deodorant, make sure your nails are cut short, and keep your hair tied up out of the way. Hygiene is very important not just for yourself but for others who interact with you!
