― Sir Terry Pratchett, Equal Rites Those of you who know me personally and/or know my work will attest to my evangelical, some say, ‘rabid’ objection to the term ‘imposter syndrome’. There is one pretty clear reason for this, and that is because ‘imposter syndrome’ doesn’t actually exist. It is a term used widely in social media to describe a feeling of intellectual fraudulence (and the consequences of it) more accurately known as the impostor phenomenon or impostor experience....
