REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9163 - An act establishing the National Service Training Program (NSTP) for the tertiary level students, amending Republic Act No. 7077 and Presidential Decree No. 1706, and for other purposes. The RA 9163, otherwise known as the "National Service Training Program (NSTP) Act of 2001" has been signed into law by Her Excelency, President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, in respose to public clamor for reforms in the Reserved officers Training Corps (ROTC) program.
