🐟 Anglers may keep no more than five fish per day.
🐟 Let the small fry go! Only keep fish that you intend to use.

01/14/26 Good morning Trout Anglers! 1,500 Rainbow Trout have been stocked into Mike Lewis Park pond. The daily bag limit is 5 fish per person per day, there is no minimum length limit on Rainbow Trout, anglers may use no more than 2 poles at a time, and anglers 17 years and older must have a fishing license. Each winter, rainbow trout are stocked in the river, turning this stretch of Hill Country water into one of the most unique fishing spots in the country. It’s a rare chance to chase trout without leaving Texas, whether you’re casting flies for the first time or dialing in your winter technique.

Public fishing access at Camp Huaco Springs is open through early March, giving anglers a chance to fish one of the southernmost trout streams in North America.
