Drink & Draw Estonia offers a seat for the artist and a stage for the model, to dress up or undress

The Estonian Cancer Society will organize a charitable online art auction “Art Supports Health” in the spring of 2026, with the aim of raising support for the purchase of a new 3D mammogram and contributing to the early detection of breast cancer.

The auction is planned to bring together artpieces on the themes of women, femininity, motherhood, beauty and the n**e.

A request from our friends at Viscosa! They are looking for Hiiumaa based artists, or artists with a strong connection to Hiiumaa for a fantastic gallery opportunity!

Pöördun sinu poole sooviga jõuda Hiiumaal elavate või Hiiumaa sidemetega kunstnikeni. Nimelt oleme suve alguses Viscosa Kultuuritehase avapäeva raames korraldamas kunstibasaari ning sooviksime sinna kaasata Hiiumaa kunstnikke.

Sündmusest lähemalt.

20. juunil 2026 avame Viscosa Kultuuritehase justkui uuesti esimeseks hooajaks - renoveeritud ning aastaringseks kasutamiseks saab esimene osa majast ning soovime seda vääriliselt tähistada. Ühtlasi möödub sellel aastal tinglikult 111 aastat viskoositehase tegutsemisest - niiet neid algusi on mitmeid, mida pidulikult meenutada.

Oleme sellele päevale koondanud kõik meie majas toimuvate näituste avamised, toimuvad kontserdid, performance’id ning avatseremoonia. Avatud saab meie loomemajanduse töökoda, pumprada, toimuvad giidituurid.. ühesõnaga päev täis viskoosset liikumist sündmusest sündmusesse.

Hea meelega lisaksime sellesse päeva veel ühe annuse kunsti basaari näol ning veel parema meelega pakuksin seda ideed esmajärjekorras Hiiumaa (juurtega / sidemetega) kunstnikele. Basaar toimuks katuse all, kuid ruumis, millel ei ole uksi ega aknaid. Seega - vihmakindel, aga võib olla õhu liikumist.

Meie ise kunstnikelt midagi ei soovi, peale selle, et nad kohale tuleksid oma töödega :) Iga kunstniku väljapanek jääks tema enda vastutada - nii ülespanek kui ka asjade (toolid, lauad) olemasolu. Vool on seal saalis olemas.

Ruum on suur seega mida rohkem kunstnikke ja kunsti, seda täidlasem see kõik välja näeb - sõna levitamine on soositud :)

Registreerimiseks palun saata email [email protected] koos lühikese kirjeldusega, milliste töödega on plaan tulla (kas on maal või keraamika või..jne)

I am reaching out to you with the hope of connecting with artists who live on Hiiumaa or have ties to Hiiumaa. At the beginning of the summer, as part of the Viscosa Cultural Factory’s grand opening day, we are organizing an art bazaar and would love to involve Hiiumaa artists.

More about the event.
On June 20th, 2026, we will be reopening Viscosa Cultural Factory as if for its very first season – the first renovated section of the building will become available for year-round use, and we wish to celebrate this milestone properly. At the same time, this year marks, symbolically, 111 years since the viscose factory first began operating – so there are several new beginnings to celebrate and commemorate.

On that day, we will bring together the openings of all exhibitions hosted in our building, along with concerts, performances, and an opening ceremony, our creative industry workshop and pump track will be open, guided tours will take place… in short, it will be a day full of “viscose-like” movement from one event to another.

We would be delighted to add another artistic layer to the day in the form of an art bazaar – and even more delighted to offer this opportunity first and foremost to artists from Hiiumaa (with roots or connections to the island). The bazaar will take place under a roof, but in a space without doors or windows. So it is rainproof, though there may be some airflow.

We do not require anything from the artists except that they come with their work :) Each artist will be responsible for their own display setup, including installation and any necessary items (chairs, tables, etc.). Electricity is available in the space.

The room is large, so the more artists and artworks there are, the richer and more vibrant it will look – spreading the word is warmly encouraged :)

To register, please send an email to [email protected] with a short description of the works you plan to bring (e.g. paintings, ceramics, etc.).

Please send this information no later than April 1, 2026.
