My name is Leigh Bretzlaff and I am the Athletic Director at Oilfields High School. Our SR Boys Volleyball team is going to do a bottle drive to offset our Volleyball fees. This years fees are $550/person and we are hoping to raise as much as possible. We are looking to do a bottle drive in Diamond Valley (Turner Valley and Black Diamond) on Sunday, October 15th from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm to help offset the cost for our team. The funds will offset the cost of tournament fees, hotel fees and team apparel. If you have bottles or willing to donate please let me know through Facebook or you can contact me at 403-510-8814. Are you ready? The action starts in less than 4 hours at Oilfields High School for the 2A ASAA Boys Volleyball Provincials! Athletes from across Alberta are ready to play their hearts out in hopes of bringing home GOLD. Opening Ceremonies start at 8:45am and the first game kicks off at 10:15am with Ecole Notre Dame Wildcats vs. Immanual Christian School. Come support the best Volleyball athletes in the province! Good luck to all teams.

It is raining medals in Drillerland this weekend! Congratulations to the JV girls on their bronze medal at Zone!

Well done to these young ladies who brought home the bronze medal from the 1A/2A JV Girls South Central Zone Championship. These girls have grown a lot in the last couple of months and we are very proud of them at Oilfields High School. They played as a team and continued to improve with each game and never quit. GO DRILLERS GO.

just captured the 2A SR Boys Volleyball Zone Championship. We are super proud of these young men who represented our school and community. Although they lost the first set in the final they regrouped and played an amazing last two sets to win. They are pumped to represent Oilfields High School as the South Central Zone Champions. Come out and support they boys as they compete and host the 2A SR Boys Provincial Volleyball Championship, Nov 24-26. GO DRILLERS GO.

Congrats to the Jr. A Girls(Grade 9) for winning the gold medal at Our Lady of Snow tourney in Canmore today. The ladies battled extremely hard today. Many sets went down to the final serve. Our girls worked hard, battled through adversity most importantly demonstrated sportsmanship, and a positive attitude.
