Today marks the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, a pivotal moment in Philippine history where the Filipino people united to reclaim their democracy and freedom. On February 25, 1986, millions of Filipinos, united in their quest for change, gathered on the streets of EDSA to peacefully protest against the two-decade rule of late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. The EDSA Revolution showcased the unbreakable spirit of the Filipino people, who stood firm against corruption, oppression, and human rights violations. Through peaceful protest, they wrote a powerful chapter in the our history that reminds us that when a nation puts its trust in God and stands firm in its values, even the toughest challenges can be overcome through peaceful means and unwavering moral conviction.

As Espians, may this event serve as a reminder to value the freedom that our fellow Filipinos fought for and to strive for a better future for our country. Let us never forget the peaceful step of the Filipino people to achieve our independence! 🤍
