And here's my second method for quadratic sequences, using integration. It's a pretty nifty trick, in my opinion.

Also, happy new year!

Here's the second method for solving quadratic sequences. Do watch the first part as well if you haven't! This method, if you know integration, is much simpl...

Sequences, number patterns, nth term...whatever you call it, I've seen too many students struggle with it. Most will just resign to skipping the question when they see it in an exam paper.

That's why I decided to cover this topic. The main problem isn't in linear sequences, it is in quadratic sequences, as you usually can't directly figure out the pattern just by looking at it. Trial and error isn't very helpful in these questions either.

Thus, I have figured out two methods to solve these quadratic sequences, and here's the first one.

If you don't have a method to solve for or find the explicit formula of a quadratic sequence (a simple example is 1,3,6,10,15), do check out this video. Once you learn it, you will never have problems with it, again. I promise. And the best part about these type of questions is the ability to check that your answer is correct. So don't waste the marks. Learn how to tackle it :)

Once again...thanks for the support. Let me know if there is anything to improve on, or if I'm too fast, or too slow.

This is the first method I have for solving quadratic sequences. Hopefully I didn't lose anyone along the way! I'm also sorry for my camera's autofocus, I fo...

Hello everyone :)

Wow. I didn't even realise I already have 300 likes on Facebook. Thanks once again for the support!

In this video I talk about linear sequences. It is mostly just a build up to what I REALLY want to talk about - quadratic sequences. Which I will post soon (in the next minute!).

Do check this out if you don't already know how to find the explicit formula for linear sequences!

Hey all! I finally had the time to make a video. THANK YOU to those who stayed with me! Sorry for the autofocus in this video and the next two. I stupidly fo...

Thank you to all the lovely people who have liked my humble page (and subscribed to my channel!), I apologise for suddenly disappearing off the face of youtube because of my busy schedule.

I've been thinking of this channel from time to time and I would love to continue making videos (perhaps a little less frequently), so do let me know what topics I should cover next, if anyone has any preference :)

Once again, thanks for all the wonderful support!

Here's this week's video, enjoy!

Here's this week's video, enjoy!

This time I talk about changing the subject of formula. Not too difficult I think! Topic covered in O, N(A) and N(T) level. Do check out my facebook ( https:...

Got a bit bored with algebra and geometry...so I changed things up a little bit this week :) Suitable for even primary level as it's quite straightforward. For some odd reason not many of my students are good at mental calculation though! Not sure if this is necessary or if it's too easy...so some feedback is appreciated?

Do share it if you like it though :p thanks!

Was wondering if you guys were getting bored with algebra/geometry (I was)...so I digress a little to talk about mental calculation! Not sure how many would ...

Sorry this came a bit late - had some problems processing the video on youtube yesterday! This is a short (and simple) one, enjoy!

Also, do subscribe to me on youtube if you like my videos :)

Today's lesson is a short one, on angles of polygons. Let me know if you encounter any difficult questions related to this topic, though in my experience, th...

One of the more interesting ones to date (in my opinion!). This time I give the geometric proof of the 3 basic algebraic identities (a+b)^2, (a-b)^2, and (a+b)(a-b), so do check it out :)

There are 3 very important identities you will learn in lower secondary: (a+b)^2 (a-b)^2 (a+b)(a-b) Today I talk about the geometric proofs for these 3 ident...
