Beginning this spring, campus’s anti-spam/anti-virus software will transition from Sophos PureMessage for UNIX to Proofpoint. This software provides important functions that strengthen university cybersecurity and protection, scanning all incoming and outgoing email to detect spam or phishing attempts and viruses. Sophos PureMessage will retire July 20, 2023.

Qualtrics has modernized the user experience to be easier and more intuitive to use, introducing consistent interactions, in addition to changes in web accessibility so all users can collaborate. These changes are scheduled to start rolling out to UW-Madison accounts late January 2023.
