Kappa Psi will be hosting a bake sale next Wednesday September 14 in both IREB and RES! So come by, buy some sweets, baked goods and support Kappa Psi! There will be a variety of baked goods. (You deserve a sweets break after all these exams, you earned it!) Hope to see everyone there!

Kappa Psi will hosting our first recruitment event this year, Pizza and Pie w/ Kappa Psi on Wednesday, September 7th from 12pm-1pm in IREB 270. Join us for some pizza and pies, and learn about what Kappa Psi means to us! The event is open to all pharmacy classes and is a MANDATORY event for candidate selection for the fraternity. We will providing FREE FOOD, so come and hang out with us! We hope to see everyone there! If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to message us!

Some of our Brothers from Zeta Lambda and Southwest Province officers recently attended the 60th GCC in Phoenix, Arizona after a few years of hiatus from GCC being hosted. We had a great time bonding with each other and brothers from across the country and learning more about Kappa Psi! You wouldn’t want to miss the next one! 🎉🥳🎊

This weekend, a few of our Brothers traveled to Houston for the Southwest Province Spring Assembly hosted by the Delta Delta chapter. During the meeting, chapter delegates had the honor of voting for the 2022-2023 SWP EC.

Philanthropy event of collecting for Ana’s Baskets which are starter kit basket supplies. Ana was a former SafeHaven client who came up with the idea of creating kits with basic necessities for families in transitional housing. You can find more details in the post. Please help and support!

We are honored to have 16 new members and 1 new faculty member become a part of our Brotherhood. We are so excited to see all the amazing things they will accomplish!

✨Kappa Psi and ACVP are hosting a blanket and towel drive! Donate your new/lightly used items starting March 21st, through April 1st in RES 114 and IREB 260. You can also make a cash donation through Venmo! Do some spring cleaning and help out the Alvarado Veterinary Clinic and the DFW Humane Society!💛

Remember nearly two years ago during Spring Break 2020 when we hoped our “break” would be extended by a week? As the pandemic began to unfold, we never expected to spend months in isolation, which ultimately led to other situations being overlooked.

UN Women coined the term “The Shadow Pandemic” to bring awareness to the rapid increase in violence against women during the pandemic. Erika Sussman, the executive director of the Center for Survivor Advocacy and Justice (CSAJ), states, “…the rates of abuse increased dramatically to about 50% and higher for those marginalized by race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, citizenship status, and cognitive physical ability.”

In hopes of bringing awareness and showing our support for victims who decide to leave their abusers, Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc is hosting a semester long philanthropy event to collect monetary donations for Ana’s Baskets – starter kit basket supplies. Ana was a former SafeHaven client who came up with the idea of creating kits with basic necessities for families in transitional housing. At the end of the semester, we will be using the donated funds to create baskets from the items listed below. Each basket is estimated to cost $50 to make (excluding gift cards).

Monetary donations should be paid to treasurer William Brunner (Venmo: -Brunner). Once you’ve sent your donation, please send me a screenshot as proof of payment. For other payment methods, feel free to send me a message via email. The donated funds will go directly to purchasing items to make complete baskets at the end of the semester.

If you are unable to donate money at this time, you are more than welcome to volunteer your time in assisting us with purchasing, packaging, and delivering baskets to Arlington Resource Center & Berry Good Buys!
