Unfortunately recently we have had a few classmates have some very sad losses in their family and continued prayers are with them and their families. So I thought I would post some good news and let you know that our prayers have helped Bart and he had a PET scan done last week and he is considered “in remission “ ! He continues to need our prayers because he goes in 10/3 to have part of his thyroid removed.

35 Year Reunion We are trying to put together a 35 year reunion in Marcellus for the class of 1979, sometime next year.
Looking for all classmates to join in, and welcome all ideas. More to follow as we continue to put it together.

Went camping with Vicki and Bart this weekend, wasn’t a good weekend for Bart as he had a chemo treatment Thursday but he wanted me to tell you all Hi, and thank you for the prayers he really appreciates it. ❤️
Attached is an update from Bart via his wife:
My husband has requested me to post an update. It seems like the radiation and chemotherapy are doing their job and the on the side of his neck is shrinking along with the stuff on his tonsils. He did have a biopsy done on his thyroid and he does have a lump roughly a bit under an inch on his thyroid. When they did the biopsy it came back inconclusive so the doctor has recommended that after he completes his chemo and radiation he should wait a few weeks and then make arrangements to have his thyroid removed. Yes that will mean that he will have to be on medication for the rest of his life but it beats watching grass grow from underneath. All in all it seems okay that's going fairly well but it still feels like one thing after another.
Heard from another classmate/friend today and he could use our prayers. He just found out he has cancer on his right lymph node and tonsil. Please send him prayers for healing!!🙏
It has been a very long time since I have posted anything on this page and I wish I didn’t have to make this post, but we lost another classmate/friend on 4/6/2022 .
RIP Tim Beurmann, I’m glad I ran into you a few weeks ago at Amy’s Diner and we got to visit, not knowing it would be our last. Thoughts and prayers for family, you will be missed. ❤️🩹
Bluegill Frolic this weekend, hope to see some of you uptown maybe at the beer tent !!
Thoughts and prayers for our friend and classmate Robert Robert Eggleston he lost his uncle last week and his father last night.
There’s never a good time to lose a loved one, but the holidays are hard.
Went down to the VFW tonight for a burger and gave Larry Romig our donation and he told me to thank the class of 79 for the generous donation!! Thanks again everyone ❤️
