Hi Everyone!

PENS International Cooperation Office successfully held the first webinar : Sharing Session "International Career Talks" with Aldi Kreshnanda and Olivia Putri Rosmala.

This event was joined by 87 participants via WEBEX and moderated by Elsa Mayang (one of PICO Volunteers). First sharing session was Life as an Engineer in Japan by Aldi Kreshnanda. He already told us what METI Government of Japan Internship Program is and how to get it. Second sharing session was Hiring Indonesian for a Foreign Country Company by Olivia Putri Rosmala. She told how to be an engineer or a worker in foreign company, she also gave us some tips and tricks how to be a foreign company engineer or worker.
Sharing session was held with the excitement and enthusiasm coming from the speakers and also the participants.

(10/30/2018) Director of Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, Dr. Zainal Arief signed an MoU between PENS and Prof. Tokunaga Horaki, Chung Cheong University, Korea. The signing was held in the meeting room 2nd floor of the Pascasarjana PENS building.

Not only PENS that signed the MoU with Chung Cheong University, Korea, but there are 40 Polytechnics and Community Academies also carried out the signing. The cooperation are covers about short-term program such as student exchange programme, research colaboration, Lecturer and staff exchange.

Institut Teknologi Bandung, Directorate of Innovation and Business Incubator University of Indonesia (DIIB UI) and Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya are the chosen institutions/organizations
under Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education to participate in Global Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Startup Program.

*About ICT Global Startup Program Korea 2018*
ICT global startup program korea 2018 is an invitation program initiated by Gyeonggi Province, Republic of Korea to develop ICT global talent in Asia.
Program will be held in Republic of Korea for 4 months. Through this program participants will be given a chance to develop ICT covergence and new technology skills as well as a live experience to become global entrepreneur.

*Program Duration*
16 August 2018- 20 December 2018 (total 16 weeks)
1) 16 August 2018 – 5 October 2018 in Ajou University, Korea (6 Weeks)
2) 8 October 2018 – 20 December 2018 in STARTUP CAMPUS, Korea (10 weeks)

10 from Korea, 20 from Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam (Total 30 Participants)

PENS hosts the international event for South East Asian scope. PENS in cooperation with SEAMEO (South East Asian Ministry Education Organization) conducted The 3rd SEAMEO Polytechnic Network Meeting on Thursday, April 5th 2018 to Friday, April 6th 2018. The participating institutions were the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions which provide Diploma/Higher Diploma, and TVET Bachelor in the following priority areas: Hospitality and Tourism, Mechatronics/Electronics and Manufacturing, IT/ Informatics, Agriculture/Animal Science, Food Technology, Business and others as agreed by participating institutions.

Sabtu, 3 Februari 2018.

Senang sekali rasanya kami melaksanakan city tour di Surabaya,
sebelumnya kami sudah berkoordinasi dengan cak mus yang merupakan founder dari Kampung Dolanan Surabaya.
Tak di sangka sangka, ternyata kehadiran kami sudah ditunggu-tunggu dengan siswa siswi dari SDN Simokerto V. Kami sangat terkejut, karena ekspresi dan sambutan dari Kepala sekolah dan jajarannya sangat antusias dalam sharing tentang Budaya.
Kami belajar membatik, sharing bahasa korea dan philiphina kepada siswa siswi di SDN Simokerto V. Tak hanya itu, kami juga belajar mengenal dolanan tradisional seperti, bakiak, enggrang dan tarik tambang.

Meskipun keringat kami bercucuran karena terlalu bersemangat membaur dengan warga sekolah dan masyarakat. kami sangat bahagia sekali mengenal dolanan tradisional budaya Indonesia.

So... Saya bangga dengan Bangsa dan kebudayaan Indonesia. Kamu??
