In-service Untrained teachers across India have enrolled in the NIOS D.el.ed program. A huge number of untrained teachers working in various private and government schools of Dima Hasao have also enrolled in the course, but recently there has been a huge commotion reagrding allotment of study centres. It is seen that the study centre allotted to the teachers of Dima Hasao falls in Kokrajhar district of Assam. The teachers have tried all possible provisions for change of study centres within the proximity of their schools but all in vain. There has been no proper information from the concerned authorities. In this regard, all the members of DHPSTWF have decided to submit a memorandum to the concerned authorities through the Inspector of Schools as soon as possible and also to stage a full frontal protest against the negligence of the concerned authorities in this matter.

On 20th January 2018, The DIMA HASAO PRIVATE SCHOOL TEACHERS WELFARE FOURAM had its annual General meeting at 11.00 am in the premises of DONBOSCO HS SCHOOL Haflong under Presidentship of Mrs. Chompa Bhor
The house discussed various issues and adopted following resolutions unanimously.
1. Reformation of Executive Committee --
The house selected the new executive committee as follows--

Will remain same as earlier.
The house has given the power to the General Secretary to include new executive member after discussion with the President of the executive committee.
2. The house discussed issues related to D.El.Ed specially regarding change of study centre. Applications were collected from each and every teacher present to submit in the DIET office following verbal instruction given from the concerned office.
3. The house decided to hold another meeting in presence of district coordinator of NIOS to clear all doubts related to D.El.Ed and agreed to convey the message to all the teachers working in any private school within the district of DIMA HASAO.
4. The house expressed its heartiest thanks to Mr Tapash Das & Mr. Ashim Majumder for serving for the welfare of the private school teachers during their tenure till their resignation caused by their appointment under state government.
Finally the meeting ended with the vote of thanks from the chair.

An workshop has been organized by Dima Hasao Private School Teachers Welfare Forum at Don Bosco High School Haflong. The workshop was started with the inspirational speech by Dr. Ronald Bathari and Father Joseph.More than 150 students from different schools from greater Haflong including Gunjung Don Bosco has participated in the workshop. Teachers like Miss Roma Bonner, Siddharth Shankar Dutta Roy (sir Kishore) and many other renowned teachers were present in the workshop.

The Dima Hasao Private School Teachers Welfare Forum is going to organise an WORKSHOP for HSLC EXAMINATION 2017 candidates of Dima Hasao in the premises of DONBOSCO HS SCHOOL at 10 am onwards on 20th and 21st Dec 2016. In the workshop Sir Kishore, Miss Bonner and many other renowned teachers are going give important tips to the students for sure success in the ensuring HSLC EXAMINATION. all are requested extend their help, and cooperation to make the workshop a grand success.
The Head of the institutions are requested to ensure participation of students of respective schools.

कितने बेतन आयोग आये और गए पर हम प्राइवेट विद्यालयो में कर्मरत शिक्षकों की सामाजिक और आर्थिक हालत में कोई बदलाव नही आयी । हम पहले भी गुलामो की तरह काम करते थे आज भी करते हैं। जब की राष्ट्र निर्माण में हमारा भी उतना ही योगदान हैं जितना सरकारी शिक्षकों की हैं, सरकार हमेशा हमारे साथ सौतेला ब्याबहार क्यों करती हैं ? हम यह नही कहते हैं कि हमारा वेतन सरकार दे, पर संबिधान में संशोधन करके जो निजी स्कूल के मालिक हैं उन्हें हमारा हक़ देने केलिए बाध्य तो कर सकती हैं। हमे बहुत आशा हैं बर्तमान सरकार पर विशेष कर डॉक्टर हिमंत विश्व शर्मा जी पर शायद वे हमारी इस दयनीय हालत में परिवर्तन ला सके। वैसे चुनाव में उनका नारा भी यही था परिवर्तन।
