Lincoln Community Preschool is a small nurturing environment serving children ages 1-4 years old where children, families and staff are valued. ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a flexible full time on-site position for an ECE Education Specialist. The Education Specialist will be responsible for supporting teachers in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and monitoring and assessing student progress. The ECE Education specialist will collaborate with staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children.
QUALIFICATIONS
• California Master Teacher Child Development Permit or higher
• Extensive experience with CLASS, ERS, DRDP
• Strong knowledge of the California Learning Foundations and Curriculum Framework
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators

Announcing a new class opportunity for the Fall! Join RIE Associate and RIE Board Chair, Jill Getto Lee, for an online Foundations Course. Take a deep dive into the theory and practice of the RIE Educaring Approach.

Jill holds a Masters from Pacific Oaks College in Human Development, Specializing in Early Childhood Development, and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Central Michigan University. Her passion is to advocate for children’s physical and mental health rights.

Class will be held online via zoom:
Saturdays Sept. 10, 2022 – Oct. 15, 2022
9:00am – 4:00pm PT with breaks

Addressing inequities in communities requires us to intentionally assess and address racial equity in our organizations. We will review using racial equity organization self-assessments to raise organizational and programmatic awareness, initiate conversations focused on racial equity, and contribute to the development of racial equity plans for Family Resource Centers, networks and the broader community.
