Our partnership with the St. Charles County Ambulance District provided over 200 hours of ride alongs to our Associates which aided in the decision of 5 students to become paramedics!

🌟 Career Exploration at Mastercard with St. Charles County CAPS!🌟

Recently we had an incredible opportunity to explore various departments at Mastercard, gaining valuable insights into various roles and skills necessary for career success. Special thanks to Allie McGuire Moore & Aaron Gomez for giving us a fascinating look into the Cyber Range, where teams practice defending against cyber threats in a real-world simulated environment. Timothy Kerr also shared the essential work of the Digital Forensic Lab, analyzing and solving complex cybersecurity cases.
Affton Hennerich highlighted the critical work happening at the Fusion Center, where collaboration and intelligence come together to strengthen security measures. Christian Nay offered insight into the Security Operation Center (SOC) and the team’s round-the-clock efforts to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents. Scott Hansen walked us through the important role of the MC&O department, ensuring operational continuity and resilience across Mastercard's operations.
This experience was both enlightening and engaging for our students, offering a deeper understanding of career paths in cybersecurity and STEM fields. A big thank you to our tour guide, David Kuehn, and to Katie Boudreau for organizing the visit. We are immensely grateful for the professionals who shared their knowledge and those who interacted with our students.
