An enlightening Seminar on Awareness Building on Cancer Prevention was held at the Kumudini School of Public Health, R. P. Shaha University, organized under the guidance of the Kumudini Welfare Trust of Bengal (BD) Ltd.

The principal discussant, Dr. Andrew Branagan, MD, Specialist in Hematology & Oncology, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA, delivered an insightful session focusing on the importance of early detection, lifestyle modification, and community-level awareness as key strategies in preventing cancer. His discourse emphasized global best practices and preventive approaches adaptable to the local healthcare context.

The session was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Manindra Kumar Roy, Vice Chancellor, R. P.
