The society aims to promote literary discourse among the students of the college by organizing talks and workshops by renowned personalities associated with research and literature. The society features a publication wing that serves to organize, publish, and archive the research conducted by students and faculty as part of their college activities, thereby allowing information to be collected and

perused by those associated with the college. The society functions under the umbrella of the National College of Arts, Lahore, and is run solely by the students of the institution.

Khirad Literature society will be hosting Mujahid Eshai Sahab at the National College of Arts, Lahore.
Eshai Sahab is the author of the book 'on and about Manto'. The book is a collection of translations containing 18 essays, 15 written by Manto while two penned by eminent people (Bari Alig and Krishan Chander) about Manto and one is Manto’s impressions on Ismat Chughtai.
