Join us for a special screening this Thursday, April 16th in the Union Cinema. She Cried That Day, is film that sheds light on the heartbreaking realities faced by Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples. This gathering creates space for reflection, awareness, and collective commitment to honoring the lives and stories too often overlooked.

The reception will start at 5:15 with the film shortly following at 6pm. . After the film, stay for a meaningful conversation with Kristin Welch, Founder and Executive Director of Waking Women Healing Institute, an Indigenous- and survivor-led nonprofit advancing land- and culturally based healing, prevention, and response for survivors of violence and families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and People (MMIWP).
