Heartrending stories of NOUN law students as varsity cancels programme These are definitely challenging times for the Law students of the National Open University of Nigeria, especially those in their final year.

For those who may not understand how bad the situation is for these students affected, and how insensitive the management of the school seems to be; note that, majority of these students had already done and submitted their project work, only to asked to go back home, not considering how much study time and money they had spent in pursuing the program.

In an economy where money is hard to come by, each of the affected student’s where made to pay school fees up until their portal was unjustly shutdown.

No one should applaud any institution or organization attempting to deny young citizens of their fundamental right to education.

As a nation, if we must get our justice system right, we must strive to make sure that no form of injustice is allowed to thrive, not withstanding those involved. For if injustice is allowed to thrive it would create room for a lawless society.
