Job Description: Junior Full-Stack Developer (Node.js & React)

sparxsys is looking for a motivated, high-energy Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team. This role is perfect for a fresher or someone with up to 2 years of experience who is passionate about building scalable web applications and has a solid grasp of the JavaScript ecosystem.

As a Junior Developer, you will work closely with senior engineers to build user-facing features using React and develop robust backend services using Node.js. We value practical knowledge—if you have a GitHub full of personal projects or have completed a rigorous internship, we want to hear from you.

# # # Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development: Build responsive, modular UI components using React.js and manage application state efficiently.

Backend Development: Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.

API Integration: Design, implement, and consume RESTful APIs to connect the frontend with backend services and third-party tools.

Database Management: Work with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL) or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases to store and retrieve data.

Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and troubleshoot bugs to ensure high-quality code delivery.

# # # Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience (Internships and significant personal projects count!).

Frontend: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Strong foundational knowledge of React.js (Hooks, Context API).

Backend: Solid understanding of Node.js and asynchronous programming.

REST APIs: Clear understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and how to structure a clean API.

Tools: Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.

Problem Solving: A logical mindset and the ability to break down complex tasks into manageable pieces.

# # # Preferred "Bonus" Skills
Experience with TypeScript.

Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux or Zustand.

Familiarity with Docker or basic cloud services (AWS/Heroku/Vercel).

Experience writing unit tests (Jest, Mocha, or Cypress).
