Despite all the depressing news in the world since 2020, there are bright spots and the world continues to spin.

Kudos to Colin Wee, friend of Kansas Chun Kuhn Taekwondo Association, for his recent recognition in the International Book Awards.

In the same issue (July 2023), a moving farewell to our teacher, Supreme Master Kim Bok-Man, who in July was interred in the national military cemetery in Korea due to his distinguished service to his country during the Korean War and his contributions to the Korean martial art of Taekwondo.

It takes courage to forge ahead toward the unknown when no one else is willing to walk alongside.
