DAU Officials Conduct Review Visit for MSc Agriculture Analytics Program
A team of officials from Dhirubhai Ambani University (DAU) recently visited Anand Agricultural University (AAU) for a review of the MSc Agriculture Analytics program. The visiting team comprised Dr. G. Venkatesh, Director – School of Technology, DAU; Dr. Bhaskar Chaudhury, Dean – Academic Programs, DAU; and Mr. Souvik Sarkar, Head – CPM, DAU.
During the visit, the DAU officials met with Dr. N.A. Shah, Vice Chancellor, AAU, and Dr. Kishor Supekar, MSc Agriculture Analytics Coordinator, DAU, to discuss curriculum alignment, academic collaboration, and the future roadmap of the program.
The visit also included an insightful tour of the Amul Milk Plant and Amul Chocolate Factory, offering a firsthand look at large-scale dairy processing and food manufacturing excellence. The team also had the opportunity to meet Dr. Amit Vyas, Managing Director, Anand Milk Union (Amul), and visit the prestigious Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), where the officials met Dr. Saswata Biswas, Director, IRMA.
The visit reaffirmed DAU's ongoing commitment to the MSc Agriculture Analytics program, with discussions focused on strengthening the curriculum and enhancing students' learning experience.

Dhirubhai Ambani University reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability by organising a Plantation and Cleanliness Drive across the campus.
1,101 saplings—including medicinal, flowering, ornamental, and native tree species—were planted to enhance the University's green cover. Prior to the drive, participants received guidance on proper planting techniques and post-plantation care to ensure healthy growth.
Extending our efforts beyond the campus, 20+ housekeeping personnel joined the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation's (GMC) plantation campaign at Arnab Garden, Sector-2, where 300 additional saplings were planted in collaboration with GMC officials.
A campus-wide cleanliness drive was also carried out, with housekeeping and gardening teams working together to clean roads, gardens, open spaces, and common areas, reinforcing our commitment to a clean, green, and sustainable environment.
