Physicist Otto Stern was nominated for the Nobel Prize on a total of 82 occasions between 1925 and 1945. Among his nominators were Albert Einstein, Wolfgang Pauli, Max Planck and Werner Heisenberg.

Almost two decades after his first nomination, Stern finally received the 1943 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his contribution to the development of the molecular ray method and his discovery of the magnetic moment of the proton." See his full list of nominators: https://bit.ly/3pHzGeO
