As the New Year begins, I'm taking a moment to look back with gratitude.

I am very thankful to have taken part in the enbu as a part of the UKA's 40th year of summer schools last August. A great organisation, with a great future ahead.

I am excited to carry this momentum into the year ahead!

here is a video of part of my demonstration.

As we come to the end of the year, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us this year and all those that joined us for our recent fundraising party and raffle. Your presence, generosity, and enthusiasm made the evening truly special and reflected the strong sense of community that defines our dojo. The funds raised will go directly to acquiring brand new signage, helping our visibility.
Events like this remind us that our dojo is more than a place to train; it is a community built on respect, cooperation, and our shared love of Aikido.
We were also proud to close out the year with a hard and spirited final class, full of focus, energy, and commitment on the mat, an excellent reflection of the dedication our students bring to their practice.
As we look ahead to the new year, we are excited for continued training, learning, and time on and off the mat together. Thank you for your commitment and support of the dojo, and we wish you and your loved ones a very merry Christmas and happy new year.

With gratitude,

M.Howson
