The ceremonial signing marks a significant step in strengthening regional collaboration in language and literature education. LLICON2026 aims to gather educators, researchers, and scholars to advance conversations on innovative instructional methodologies, multidisciplinary engagement, and reflective teaching practices in flexible learning contexts.
LLICON2026 is designed with three primary objectives: to keep educators abreast of current trends in instructional strategies and research in language and literature teaching; to promote multidisciplinary and collaborative approaches in advancing the field; and to provide a dynamic academic platform that fosters reflective and progressive professional dialogue.
Building on the success of LLICON 2023, the very first installment of the international conference, BALLT continues its mission of serving as a catalyst for academic excellence. Previous conferences were organized in partnership with respected organization across Southeast Asia, including Ateneo de Naga University, Archipelago Education Consultancy, Bicol for Christ Mission Academy, British Council Philippines, Catanduanes State University, Sorsogon State Unviersity, Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, and INTI International University, Malaysia. The inaugural conference in 2023 was held online, setting the stage for sustained international academic engagement.
Carrying the theme, โReimagining the Future Trajectory of Language and Literature in the age of AI, Multimodalty, Global Citizenship and Inclusivity," LLICON 2026 positions itself as a premier professional development platform. The conference will highlight emerging topics such as AI, digital humanities, multimodality, media convergence, gender studies, inclusivity, indigenous voices, global citizenship, and contemporary linguistic research while expanding professional networks across borders.
Through structured conference tracks and a comprehensive schedule of plenary talks, parallel sessions, and research presentations, LLICON 2026 seeks to cultivate a collaborative environment that advances scholarly discourse and elevates academic standards in the field.
