We were delighted to welcome a visiting group from the University of Toronto to The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus! 🇧🇧🌎

The UWI Recruitment Team welcomed Ms. Smyrna Wright, Community Engagement Coordinator and 10 students who visited as part of their Co-curricular Abroad Programme. One of the highlights for the students was experiencing two of Barbados’ favourite sporting traditions – Road Tennis and Cricket. The group learned how to play both sports while creating memorable moments filled with fun, laughter, and friendly competition! 🏏🎾

They enjoyed an engaging session on the history of campus and Barbados delivered by Dr. Henderson Carter, Dean, Faculty of Humanities & Education and were welcomed to the Faculty of Culture, Creative & Performing Arts by the Dean, Prof. David Akombo.

We are proud to continue to foster international partnerships and cultural exchange opportunities that bring students together through learning, sport, and shared experiences. 💙
