Though not easy, it was good to come together.
With the help of Wil Sensei and her group, we will continue to work on what we have received from Kees Sensei.

This weekend we had a memorial seminar for Kees Bruggink Sensei. It was a wonderfull meeting and great Keiko led by Wil Bruggink Sensei. There were participants from all over Europe and even Brazil and Israël. Thanks to everybody who came and trained and shared their stories about Kees sensei. More pictures to come.

An In memoriam seminar coming up this october led by Kees sensei's wife and Seiryukai Gomokuroku, Wil Bruggink. A good opportunity to train in his spirit and share memories with each other and have a good time.

Today we celebrate Nishioka Sensei, who gave us a new direction in SMR.
We also - with deep sorrow - bear in remembrance Kees Bruggink Sensei, who guided us on this path laid out by Nishioka Sensei.
Both were exceptional human beings, in and outside of the Dojo. We will continue to follow their path and keep alive what they have given us.

Bei frisch zubereitetem Sashimi werden Einblicke in die Fertigung von und die Philosophie hinter handgeschmiedeten japanischen Küchenmessern geboten.

Kamado Jinja summer ceremony on Homan San.

These places are connected to SMR through it's founder.
Kamado Jinja contains the side-shrine for Muso Gonnoskuke and his meditation-cave can be found 30 minutes from the top of the mountain.

"Kuroda Bushi" - a popular Japanese Folk- or Drinking-song.

Sake wa nome nome nomu naraba,
hinomoto ichi no kono yari o,
nomi toru hodo ni nomu naraba,
kore zo makoto no Kuroda-bushi.

SMR Jodo is deeply connected to Fukuoka's Kuroda Clan and practitioners should be familiar with this song.
