When Church Is Optional, You Set up Your Kids to Fail
I do not believe that skipping out on the Lord’s Day services is ever appropriate unless divinely organized (sickness, hospitalization, etc.) Sunday is a special day for God’s people and aught not be treated like a second Saturday.

Since Gabriella was about a year old, Will and I have been talking about and planning for this. Since she and her siblings were old enough to understand, we have been pushing trade/tech school. It is AMAZING the kind of kick back we have had from people.
Yes, we homeschool.
Yes, our kids are smart.
Yes, we plan on using the GI bill for trade/tech school.
No, we are not saving for college.
Want to know why?
They are all set to have enough high school credits in them that they can graduate at age 16. That gives them two years, still under our care, to get some kind of trade in them. From there, if they want to go to college, they can pay for it themselves!
Whether or not they EVER go to college does not matter to us in the least. Why? Because the world's status symbols are just dust...
