Day 4 of SFES Week 2026 was filled with energy and learning as participants engaged in the Quiz Bee, Leaf Identification, and Wood Identification contests. Each activity highlighted the knowledge, skills, and teamwork of the competing groups, making the day both challenging and inspiring. The atmosphere was vibrant, with everyone eager to showcase their talents and support their peers.

In the evening, the spotlight shifted to the Awarding Ceremony. Out of the 10 determined teams, only one emerged victorious, proudly taking home the Champion title. The moment was both thrilling and emotional, as the winning team celebrated their hard-earned success while others shared in the spirit of sportsmanship and unity.

The night concluded with a lively socialization, where participants bonded through laughter, music, and shared stories. The gathering was more than just a celebration—it was a solid and joyful experience that strengthened friendships and created lasting memories. The camaraderie built during this time reflected the true essence of SFES Week: learning, competing, and connecting as one community.

It is a night filled with nostalgia, laughter, and heartfelt connections, where alumni return to relive cherished memories and strengthen the bonds that time can never erase. The event serves as a bridge between the past and the future.

SFES Week Day 3: In celebration of Women’s Month 2026, the ASCOT School of Forestry and Environmental Sciences honors the strength, resilience, and achievements of women while taking meaningful action for the environment. This initiative reflects SDG 5: Gender Equality, showcasing women as changemakers who nurture both people and the planet.

Through a clean-up drive, participants unite to restore the beauty of our surroundings, showing that caring for our environment is a shared responsibility. Every piece of litter collected is a step toward a healthier, more sustainable future.

The mangrove tree planting symbolizes growth and resilience, aligning with SDG 13: Climate Action, SDG 14: Life Below Water, and SDG 15: Life on Land. Just as women stand tall in the face of challenges, mangroves safeguard coastlines and nurture marine life.

Step into adventure, breathe in nature 𝗦𝗙𝗘𝗦 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 takes us higher with the spirit of 𝗛𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 With the Theme: “A Quarter Century of Excellence: Nurtured by Time, Strengthen by Nature, Commitment to Sustainable Development”

That brought us closer to nature as we conquered trails, shared laughter, and embraced the spirit of adventure. Hiking reminded us that every step forward is a journey of growth, resilience, and unity celebrating the beauty of the outdoors and the strength of togetherness.
