Next week, AES will not supply breakfast or lunches on campus. If you would like boxed lunches (ONLY) for your family, please go to Adairsville High School (AHS) between 11-12 for pickup.

Dear AES Families,

As we prepare for an exciting 2026–2027 school year, we want to share two important updates that will help ensure a safe, focused, and successful learning environment for all students.

Beginning August 5, 2026, our new school hours will be 7:50 a.m. – 2:15 p.m., with doors opening for student arrival at 7:00 a.m. We encourage families to plan ahead to help students arrive on time and ready to learn each day.

In addition, we will be implementing Georgia's Distraction-Free Education Act (HB 340). Students in grades K–8 will be required to keep cell phones and personal electronic devices secured in their bookbags. This expectation includes smart watches, headphones, gaming devices, personal laptops, and other electronic devices.

We appreciate your partnership and support as we continue to make Adairsville Elementary School a place where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. Thank you for being a valued part of our AES family.

We would like to share our 26-27 school holidays, so that everyone can plan accordingly this upcoming school year. Attendance is one of our school’s goals, and AES students crushed it last year with an attendance rate of 95.4%!

We hope your summer is off to a grrrrrrrreat start.

Sheriff Millsap encourages all parents and guardians to become more involved in their children's activities by giving them the necessary information and guidance through Project Safe-Kid. BCSO will be hosting two events: Saturday, June 13, 2026 and Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 0900 to 1300 hours in the Administrative Lobby of the Bartow County Sheriff's Office. This program provides detailed information for parents to keep their children safe from Internet predators and identity thieves.
Included in this program is the child's identification card. This card contains a colored photograph, thumbprint, physical description, important medical information and emergency contact information for the child and is kept by the parent/ guardian on their person. If your child becomes lost or abducted this I.D. card can save precious time by giving law enforcement a color photo and fingerprint of your child to help find them. This program as been expanded to include at risk adults and anyone of any age with handicaps who are unable to care for themselves. No one is ever turned away, regardless of age. School is out, the sun is shining, and we are ready to celebrate!

Join the City of Adairsville this Saturday, June 6th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Veterans Memorial Park for our FREE Admission Summer Kickoff event!

We’ve got inflatable slides, an obstacle course, bungee fun, train rides, a splash pad, and FREE shaved ice to beat the heat!

Sometimes science is more fun when it's colorful.🌈🌋 Adairsville Library is creating rainbow baking-soda volcanos this Thursday, June 4th, from 5 - 6. Participants can come in between 5 and 5:30 to get started.
