Come down and give us your support this morning at Thorntree hall. The PC have school and nursery bids in.

One for the 150th celebrations of the school and the second for more greenery in the infant playground. 🤞

Join us this Saturday for another brilliant PB funding event where you can vote for the projects you think will benefit our community the most.

There are lots of fantastic community ideas to choose from — all delivered by local volunteers — including Guides and Scouts, Bloomin’ Thornliebank plants and planters, community growing at the Library garden, Christmas celebrations, 150th birthday celebrations for our local primary school, and a whole host of activities and opportunities for our older residents.

Pop along, cast your vote, cheer on your favourite projects, and help make great things happen in Thornliebank! 💚

Thank you / Tapadh leibh to everyone who purchased a ticket for our raffle or came along to our World Cup Warm Up on Thursday after school. ⚽️

The event was a huge success with a fantastic turnout from our school community and lots of funds raised which will go right back to the school to enhance the school experience for all our children.

All raffle winners have now been contacted and here is our winner of the John McGinn shirt 🥰 🏆
Finally, our heartfelt thanks again to those parents who volunteered on Thursday. Events can’t run without you and we’re really grateful for your support.

If you’d like to join the parent council, we’re always looking for more parents and will be sending out details of next years meetings via the school before the end of term.

Our raffle has closed online. We’ll still be selling tickets in person at the school from 3pm and we’ll be drawing the raffle at 4:45pm 🥳 Prizes include our signed John McGinn Scotland top, country themed hampers and some Glasgow City FC prizes! 🥳

We’re looking forward to our World Cup warm up tomorrow and hope it gets you all geared up for Scotland’s first game this weekend!

Tomorrow, the event will run 3-5pm.
Face painting and ice cream is free for Thornliebank Primary & Nursery children.

World Cup warm up raffle 🎫🎫

We’re looking forward to our World Cup Warm up this Thursday 11th June ⚽️

We have our raffle all set up for you to purchase tickets and this year we have an extra special prize, a signed John McGinn Scotland top!!
We also have our wonderful country themed hampers and some other fun prizes.

WORLD CUP WARM UP. Join us after school to get warmed up for the World Cup ⚽️
All pupils will receive a free ice cream (or allergy alternative) 🍦
We’ll have a raffle with a range of prizes including a Scotland Top signed by John McGinn and many more!
We’ve got football games, a caricaturist, mascots to be won and free face painting too. See you there!

On Friday the 30th of January the parent council organised for Gladiators very own Sabre (Sheli McCoy) to visit the children 🐅
Sheli gave an inspiring and educational talk to the children on how her dedication, hard work and individuality led towards her being chosen as a gladiator 💪 She also reminded the children (and adults!) that eating well, hydrating and a good sleep are super important 🛌💧🥦 Sheli was very generous with her time and we can’t thank her enough!

Thank you for supporting our events, raffles and discos. All money raised by the parent council goes straight back into the school to enhance our children’s school experience!
