World Pharmacist Day 2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha’s College of Pharmacy (Poly), Sawarde under the theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist”.

✨ The morning began with Dhanvantari Poojan followed by an inspiring Guest Lecture on “From Campus to Corporate: Career Guidance in Marketing” delivered by Mr. Shriram Ramesh Ambekar, MD of Bilmeds Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. He guided students on global opportunities in pharma, digital transformation, patient-centric approaches, and the ethics of pharmaceutical marketing.

🎨 In the afternoon, students showcased their creativity in the Intra-College Poster Presentation Competition, highlighting the vital role of pharmacists in healthcare.

This celebration successfully blended knowledge, innovation, and expression, reminding us all of the dignity, responsibility, and impact of the pharmacy profession. 🌿✨

सावर्डे: सह्याद्री शिक्षण संस्थेच्या कॉलेज ऑफ फार्मसी (पॉली) येथे दिनांक 19 ऑगस्ट 2025 रोजी MedPlus Pharmacy यांच्या सहकार्याने कॅम्पस ड्राईव्ह आयोजित करण्यात आला. अंतिम वर्षातील तसेच पदवीधर विद्यार्थ्यांनी उत्साहाने सहभाग नोंदवला. कंपनीच्या प्रतिनिधींनी विविध टप्प्यांत मुलाखती घेत पात्र उमेदवारांची निवड केली.
कार्यक्रमादरम्यान विद्यार्थ्यांची अॅप्टीट्यूड चाचणी व वैयक्तिक मुलाखत घेण्यात आली. निवड झालेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांना रिटेल फार्मसी क्षेत्रात करिअरच्या संधी उपलब्ध झाल्या.
महाविद्यालय प्रशासनाने आयोजनाबद्दल समाधान व्यक्त करत “विद्यार्थ्यांना नामांकित कंपनीत रोजगाराच्या संधी मिळणे हा आमच्यासाठी अभिमानाचा विषय आहे. अशा उपक्रमांमुळे ग्रामीण भागातील विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी करिअरचे नवे मार्ग खुलते,” असे प्राचार्य श्री. संजय गुलाबराव देसाई यांनी सांगितले.
कॅम्पस ड्राईव्ह यशस्वी पार पडण्यासाठी प्लेसमेंट सेल व प्राध्यापकांनी समन्वय साधला. कार्यक्रमास विद्यार्थ्यांचा मोठा प्रतिसाद लाभला असून विद्यार्थी व पालकांमध्ये उत्साहाचे वातावरण पाहायला मिळाले.

Industrial Visit to S.G.Phytopharma Pvt.Ltd (B-23 & D-21). The visit gave students a broad understanding regarding the various formulation aspects of ayurvedic dosage forms, manufacturing procedure, quality control measures taken. Over all visit added a scientific value in students knowledge

College of Pharmacy (Poly), Sawarde and Yogita Dental College, Khed collaboratively organized a Free Dental Checkup Camp on 15/10/2024. The inauguration of the camp was done by (Executive Chairman, Radha Govind Foundation). The camp got a response from the people of the nearby villages.
The Alumini of the colleges Mr. Sagar Patil (President, Satara District Chemist and Druggist Association and Founder of Uniserve Healthcare) and Mr. Rahul Jamdar (Owner, Jamdar Ayurvedic Bazar and Founder of Uniserve Health Care) delivered a Guest Lecture on "Pharmacy Management & Future Scope of Ayurveda". The students were pleased with knowledge regarding the important aspects and strategies of Pharmacy Management and the emerging and future trends of the Ayurveda. The Chairman of the College Committee Mrs. Poojatai Shekharji Nikam appreciated the Prinicpal, Teaching and Non-teaching staff for organizing a great program

Keeping this great thought we Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha's College of Pharmacy (Poly), Sawarde celebrated the World Pharmacist Day with great enthusiasm
On this special day our teachers and students appreciated the Registered Pharmacist for their great service in the pharmaceutical sector by giving them a small token of appreciation.
To enlighten the importance of World Pharmacist Day a guest lecture was organised by the college in which Mr. Ibrahim Malgundkar (owner of Sahyadri Medical) highlighted the importance of a Pharmacist to the students.
To create an awareness a rally was organised by the college and to highlight the importance of Academic Pharmacist the students deliver the key lectures highlighting the overall pharmaceutical sector
