Chester Wild is a great place to see lots of Chester’s fantastic and diverse wildlife and to make some easy like-minded friends! Hello!
Welcome to the Chester Wild page. If it’s out there, we’ll find it! This year we will be trying to get up close and personal with a range of Chester’s local wildlife as well as going further a field on a few residential field trips. We welcome absolutely anyone with a passion for wildlife, a love of the outdoors or anyone looking to make some like-minded friends! Our society is moving into its thi
rd academic year with some great achievements. We have welcomed a much larger cohort than previous years, many of which have stuck in for most, if not all our sessions. We have thoroughly enjoyed travelling across the region to find wildlife; stopping at places such as Delamere Forest, Ness Gardens and even venturing out to Bangor for Venom Day. The second year was finalised with a residential trip to Snowdonia for four days to enjoy the wildlife, an experience which will definitely be recaptured for the coming year. We hope to incorporate much of the fun and laughter we have had as a society this year into many new ventures and push for more ways for new members to meet the local wildlife in a personal way. We are a very friendly and relaxed society that love to meet new people and have a bit of fun. If you enjoy wildlife, the outdoors and meeting like-minded people, Chester Wild is a society you should check out!
