AI Innovation Hackathon - 2026 is more than a competition—it's a platform designed to inspire innovation, encourage collaboration, and empower aspiring innovators to develop AI-driven solutions that create real-world impact.

As part of our ongoing preparations, we had the privilege of paying a courtesy visit to Dr. Nusrat Jahan, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Information Technology & Management, DIU to formally invite her to the AI Innovation Hackathon 2026. She graciously accepted our invitation and shared valuable insights, thoughtful guidance, and encouraging words that further inspired the organizing team to make this event a meaningful and impactful initiative.

The invitation was extended by Prof. Dr. Fernaz Narin Nur, Samia Nawshin, Saiful Islam, Md. Hasanuzzaman Dipu, and Fariha Jahan from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Daffodil International University.

Congratulations to Team Byte Force from the CSE AI Centre and Daffodil AI Club for winning the Champion title in the Student Services category at the AI Project Competition 2026, organized by the Department of Computing and Information System-DIU.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Professor Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider Noori sir for his continuous support, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to fostering AI innovation and student excellence. We also acknowledge Professor Dr. Fernaz Narin Nur, Convener of the CSE AI Centre & Daffodil AI Club, and Md. Hasanuzzaman Dipu, Co-Convener of the CSE AI Centre & Daffodil AI Club, for their guidance, dedication, and continuous support in nurturing student innovation.

Their innovative AI-powered project, IELTS MASTER, is designed to transform IELTS preparation by providing instant band-score feedback for Writing and Reading, along with a live AI voice examiner that delivers a realistic IELTS Speaking test experience.

The team consists of Md S M Sowrov and Esrat Farjana Lima, who are active members of the Daffodil AI Club and CSE AI Centre. They are also participants in the AI Engineering Masterclass, a course organized in association with the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, DIU, instructed by Tahmid Rahman.

After weeks of learning, practice, and dedication, we are delighted to announce the successful completion of the ML Bootcamp for Beginners, jointly organized by CSE AI Centre and Shohoj Coding, in association with the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, DIU.

This bootcamp was designed to help students take their first steps into the world of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Through structured live classes, hands-on assignments, interactive discussions, and continuous mentorship, participants gained valuable foundational knowledge and practical experience.

We are proud to share that the bootcamp received an overwhelming response, and participants expressed great satisfaction with the learning experience. Their enthusiasm, commitment, and active participation made this journey truly rewarding.

Today, we officially concluded the bootcamp with a special Seminar & Closing Ceremony, where participants had the opportunity to gain further insights from industry and academic experts. During the ceremony, we also recognized and awarded certificates to our Top Performers for their outstanding dedication and achievements throughout the program.

Congratulations to all participants for successfully completing the bootcamp and taking an important step toward their AI & ML journey.

The discussion focused on strategic planning, collaboration opportunities, participant engagement, mentorship programs, judge and guest selection, event kits, and overall experience quality to ensure a well-organized and impactful event.
