I’ve had women tell me:
“This title punched me in the chest—because it’s me.”
“I’ve never seen a workshop for women who are just tired of holding it all.”
If you’ve been quietly feeling the same way, consider this your sign.
“I’m Tired of Being the Strong One: A 90‑Minute Creative Reset for Women Who Carry It All” happens online on June 7 at 12 pm CT.
Early‑bird tickets are 17 USD until May 24, then the price moves to 27 USD.
Comment “ME TOO” or text “STRONG ONE” to 708‑314‑6864 and I’ll send you the link.

Living with someone who drinks…
you learn how to adjust without even realizing it.
What to say.
What not to say.
When it’s a good time… and when it’s not.
You carry more than you’re supposed to
just to keep things from going left.
And after a while, it’s just… your normal.
But that doesn’t mean it’s not heavy.
If this is your life, even a little… I see you.
(If you’ve been needing a place to put some of that down… it’s here.)

A lot of women are carrying secret stories about someone else’s drinking. The fear, the pretending, the “I’m fine” when you’re actually exhausted.
Say It Out Loud Sunday is your space to put some of that into words. No judgment, no pressure to make a big decision today.
Text your “Dear Angelica” letter to 708‑314‑6864 if you’d like me to respond in a future post.

So many women tell me,
“I didn’t realize how heavy it was… until I finally sat still.”
Because when you slow down, the truth comes up:
“I’m exhausted.”
“I’m holding too much.”
“I don’t even know who I am outside of taking care of everyone else.”
That’s exactly what this space is for.
On June 7 at 12 pm CT, this 90-minute reset gives you a place to release it — not carry it.
You’ll leave with:
– A boundary script you can actually use
– A 5-minute reset you can come back to daily
– And most importantly… a little more space inside yourself
Early-bird tickets are 17 USD through May 24 (27 USD after).

A few quick things about my June 7 workshop, “I’m Tired of Being the Strong One”:
– Do I have to be on camera? No. You’re welcome to keep your camera off and just listen in.
– Do I have to share? I’ll invite sharing, never force it. You can stay quiet and still get what you need.
– What if I can’t come live? Because of the nature of the stories and emotions that may be shared, this will be a live‑only space—no recordings will be sent out afterward. I want you and everyone else to feel as safe and unedited as possible.
– Do I need art skills? Nope. We’re using simple writing + creative prompts—just pen and paper.
If you’re tired of being the strong one and you know you could use 90 minutes to exhale, you’re invited.
Early‑bird rate is 17 USD through May 24 (27 USD after).

Say It Out Loud Sunday: Dear Angelica
“Dear Angelica,
I’m tired. For real.
I’m the one that cleans up after the drinking, makes excuses for why he’s not at stuff, keeps everything going for these kids and still has to show up to work like nothing is wrong.
Some days I feel like if I sit down too long, I’m just going to cry and not get back up. I don’t even know what I need anymore, I just know I can’t keep doing this like this.”
My response:
First, nothing is wrong with you for feeling done. Anybody carrying what you’re carrying would be tired.
You’ve been in “hold it all together” mode for so long that your body is starting to say, “I can’t keep living like this.” That’s not weakness, that’s a signal.
This week, instead of trying to fix everything, I want you to pay attention to the moment you feel that lump in your throat or the heavy sigh. When it shows up, give yourself one small break even if that looks like sitting in the car, a walk to the mailbox, a breath where you say, “I’m doing a lot.”
It sounds small, but it’s you starting to honor you, not just hold everybody else.
If you’re loving someone with a drinking problem and want my perspective on your situation, you can text your anonymous “Dear Angelica” letter to 708‑314‑6864.
