The Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) assesses the core teaching knowledge required by English language teachers working with primary, secondary, or adult learners worldwide. Our TKT preparation course equips you with the essential knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to successfully pass the Cambridge TKT and pursue a fulfilling and successful career in English language teaching. The course thoroughly covers the content of all three TKT test modules.

Course Content
Module 1: Language and the Background to Language Learning and Teaching
Understanding language and language skills, including grammar, phonology, and the four core language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
Exploring key concepts in language learning and teaching, such as error correction, learner needs, learning styles, teaching approaches, and types of assessment
Includes a practice test with detailed feedback

Module 2: Lesson Planning and Use of Teaching Resources
Developing lesson plans and sequences, focusing on setting clear objectives, selecting suitable activities, and structuring lessons effectively
Choosing and using appropriate resources, including teaching materials and classroom aids
Includes a practice test with detailed feedback

Module 3: Managing the Teaching and Learning Process
Effective use of teacher and learner language in the classroom, including classroom language, language functions, and common learner errors
Classroom management strategies, such as teacher roles, student grouping techniques, and giving constructive feedback
Includes a practice test with detailed feedback

Course duration : 4 weeks – 5 days/week – 4 hours/day

Module 1 : 25 Hours
Module 2 : 15 Hours
Module 3 : 15 Hours
