The University of New Mexico Bowling team is a club that has been on and off, but has most recently been consistent since 2008. Since then, the club has grown from a social club, to a club that competes intercollegiatly. New Mexico Bowling opened the tournament season in Wichita this weekend for the Mid-States Tournament. After 6 Team games Day 1, they qualified in 16th out of 20 teams. Day 2 was a much better day as they jumped up 4 spots to 12th after a nice 4th and 5th block of bakers. Next tournament is in Dallas next weekend for SWIBC.
Well great weekend from the team!!! Wish we could have came home with something! But solid 4th place finish!! Thanks everyone for making this season happen!!! Looking forward to starting back up again next season!!!
The result of the SWIBC V and VI tournaments this past weekend, the UNM team finished 8th and 4th. We had a tough grind both days... Onto championships in Oklahoma in 2 weeks!!

Well this weekend at Midstates did not go as well as planned but we walked away knowing we fought hard as hard as we could. We finished 16th of 20 varsity teams all tough and notable programs. Until next time lobos.
Hey y'all the UNM bowling team has decided to bowl Midstates this weekend in Wichita KS. This will be an extremely big weekend for the lobos! We will keep y'all updated as the weekend goes on.

The UNM team will be volunteering their time at the New Mexico Open from 8/19-8/20 at Ten Pins & more out in Rio Rancho, we are having a bake sale in the mornings, and ball raffle in the afternoon. Please come out and support the Lobos!!
