June was reunited with her mother in a refugee camp in Alaska. I was NOT expecting THAT and I happy screamed.But I saw her charismatsm diminished. Before she was critical of her daughter and did not spend time with her. But in Alaska shes now a sweet loving mother and granddaughter. Was it the colonies or being separated from June that brought them closer?

Completed the series about a week or so ago. It completely engulfed me. I'm not one for the "f bomb" being used so frequently on screen or IRL (normally a turnoff, think of me what you will), but the messages beyond language were so powerful, I was able to continue watching. The emotional pull and suspense all the time... Wow. Anyways...I was basically going through withdrawals and restarted it. I'm on S2E3 and just realized that when June flashed back to the early "Intro to Handmaids" class led by Aunt Lydia, one of the slides was of her Mom! 🤯 How did I miss that!?
