This July, CTU–Asturias Campus proudly joins the nation in celebrating Philippine Agriculturists’ Month, a tribute to the dedication, expertise, and invaluable service of Filipino agriculturists.

Through Presidential Proclamation No. 544, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. officially declared July as Philippine Agriculturists’ Month to honor the significant contributions of agriculturists in advancing food security, sustainable agriculture, and national development. The proclamation also aims to raise public appreciation for the vital role agriculture plays in improving the lives of every Filipino.

Led by the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and the Philippine Association of Agriculturists, Inc. (PAA), this month-long celebration recognizes the unwavering commitment of agriculturists who continuously empower farmers, fisherfolk, and rural communities while helping build a more resilient and food-secure Philippines.

Together, let us celebrate the professionals who cultivate not only our fields, but also our nation’s future.
