APPLAUSE FOR DEDICATION: MNHS' FAM HONORS ATHLETES

Manukan National High School's (MNHS) ground filled with claps and pride saluting to provincial qualifiers' hardworks and dedication on attempting to secure a spot to Regional Meet under a scorching sun, Monday.

The provincial qualifiers, with their coaches and chaperons, are;

Athletics - coched by Flordelinda Sergio, Jo'in Christian Balais, Rialyn Faith Baraquia, and Jovil Imbal

Basketball - coached by Kirby Cadungog assist by Mechele Angely Sumaquial

SANTA CLAUS WITH A HIGH-BROWN BELT: KIAN CARLO DONATES TAEKWONDO SETS TO MNHS

'An athlete with a heart is an athlete molded by art' — 13-year-old, Vlogger-Athlete-Student, Kian Carlo of Andres Bonifacio College (ABC) lays his generosity to Manukan National High School (MNHS) after donating Taekwondo sets in order to acknowledge the dedication of Taekwondo athletes and to motivate them to aim for more. He said on the interview that he's been doing this for a long period of time to help some of the student-athletes here in the province of Zamboanga del Norte.

Kian Carlo is an eighth grader ABC Patriot Varsity Player with a high-brown belt, whom, just like other athletes, walked through different type of defeats before earning his last year's greatest achievement — first placer in City Meet and Bronze medalist in regional meet.

"To all student-athletes like me, keep doing your best. Be kind to people. Respect your coaches. And practice self-discipline. Be good to everyone, help and share as you can. Make your parents proud," Kian stated, reminding everyone what student-athlete should be.

MNHS, together with the teakwondo players headed by their coaches; Prince Camelotes and George Attaca, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the golden-hearted young boy for giving the athletes a reason to strive more. "Grateful ko sa donation ni Kian kay in this way, mas ma[ka] enhance ang among training and drills," Cella Johanna O. Balar, student from MNHS and a high-brown belter in Taekwondo.

Manukan National High School teachers with active participation of Youth for Environment in School Organization Club (YES-O) officers proudly joins the Simultaneous Nationwide Tree Planting Program on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

Vice President and DepEd Secretary Sara Duterte Carpio issued Department of Education memorandum no. 69 series of 2023, highlighting the guidelines and objectives on the implementation of the project "DEPED's 236,000 Trees-A Christmas Gift for the Children."

“This is an initiative that aims to promote environmental preservation and instill environmental responsibility among Filipino children,” Sara Duterte said in the DepEd memorandum.

A BLAST OF PINK AND BLACK: MNHS CELEBRATES ENGLISH FESTIVAL 2023💗🖤

Manukan National High School celebrates English Festival 2023 with the theme "English as a Global Language: Bridging Cultures, Connecting the World!" on Monday, December 4 at the Campus Ground Field.

Headed by the English Department Teachers, with the coordination of English Club, SSLG, The Inkhorn, BSP and GSP, the event was successfully held. In line with this celebration, proposed activities includes Master of Orthography, Master of Calligraphy, Master of Foreign Language, Master of Literature, Master of English Grammar, Master of Grammar and Literature, Master of Reading and Writing, Spelling Bee, Poetography, Vlogging Contest, Mobile Legend, The Voice of MNHS, Reading a short story, Choral Reading, Mr. and Ms. Comic-con, Song Impersonation and Dance Contest.

On the other hand, students showed their support by wearing Pink or Black inspired with Barbie and Ken outfit, the motif of MNHS English Festival this year.

“Manukan NHS successfully conducted Mr. And Ms. Intramurals 2023”

On November 24, 2023, Manukan NHS officially conducted Mr. And Ms. Intramurals 2023. The event started with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the prayer and the opening remarks delivered by Dr. Gabame Piedad.

The whole gymnasium was filled with excitement as all the candidates were very competitive and they all slayed their attire which includes: school uniform, trendy attire, and sport's attire. The event was ushered by SSLG together with the Sports Club Officers, it was also hosted by Ms. Christine H. Cadano.

The crowds' cheers filled the area when the last year's Mr. And Ms. Intramurals title holders passed on their crowns to Louie Jay Redera together with Abijah Margarett Ross Sebastian.

“Manukan NHS successfully opened the Intramurals 2023!”

On November 22, 2023 the Manukan NHS conducted an opening program for the Intramurals 2023 with the theme: “Unleash the Champion Within Embracing Excellence And the Unity Through Sports”.
The event started with a parade led by the School Principal, Dr. Judith Quezon, and the Schools Officer In-charge, Dr. Gabame Piedad.

In a dazzling moment at the Intramurals Meet, an ethereal experience unfolded as Ms. Angel Solo lighten the torch. Followed by an oath taking of the students and the teachers. The event commenced with a heartwarming message delivered by none other than the SSLG President, Ms. Ariana Phoebe E. Osborne.

Amidst the vibrant atmosphere, SSLG officers and representatives, along with the newly appointed Sports Club Officers, collaborated to create an array of booths, promising an enjoyable experience for all attendees. This kind of spirit and sportsmanship marks a memorable chapter in the Intramurals Meet, as the MNHS community unites together to celebrate the school's Intramurals.

“MNHS celebrates a legacy on its 48th Foundation Day”

On November 18, 2023 Manukan National High School (MNHS) filled the whole school with colorful cheers and laughter as they were together celebrating the school's 48th Founding Anniversary with the theme: “Fostering linkage sustainability for resilient MNHS” .

The day was filled with excitement that time as students and teachers gathered around to witness a lot of presentations.

The presentation included students' singing,dancing and even making a poem for the school.

The program successfully ended with blaze as the teachers and staff of Manukan National High School participated in a motorcade.

“Manukan NHS celebrates International Student's Day!”

On November 17, 2023, the SSLG officers successfully conducted activities that will take place throughout the day. It includes: Putukan na, Bring me, Stop dance, Trivias and many fun activities.

The SSLG President Ms. Ariana Phoebe E. Osborne gave an opening remarks followed by a statement of purpose coming from the School's Officer In-charge Dr. Gabame E. Piedad.
The event was hosted by Ms. Kyle Manahan, a Grade 9 representative, and Ms. Marianne Rose Retes the SSLG Protocol Officer. The students proudly wore their color coded clothing as they joined in the fun-packed day full of activities and games.
They were also very much energized from the Mass Zumba Dance presentation from the school's Zumba Dancers.

Lastly, Monyen Mij Sy, the SSLG Vice President gave the closing remarks. The program ended with the manifestion of student's happy faces.
