Our Mr. and Ms. 2026 Title Holders and Advocacy Winners officially signed their MOA today, locking in their one-year commitment to service and advocacy until May 2027.

Winning the title was just day one. Now, the real work begins as they step up to be true ambassadors and champions for their causes. Join us in wishing our winners a purposeful and deeply impactful year of reign!

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), in partnership with the City Government of Calamba, will lead the commemoration of the 165th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal on 19 June 2026, at 8:00 a.m., at the NHCP Museo ni Jose Rizal in Calamba, Laguna.

Senator Joseph Victor "JV" Gomez Ejercito will serve as the Guest of Honor and will lead the wreath-laying ceremony. Joining him as wreath-offerors are NHCP Deputy Executive Director for Programs and Projects Alvin R. Alcid; Lone District of Calamba Representative Charisse Anne H. Alcantara; Laguna Governor Marisol "Sol" Castillo Aragones-Sampelo; Calamba City Mayor Roseller "Ros" H. Rizal; Calamba City Vice Mayor Angelito S. Lazaro, Jr.; Liga ng mga Barangay Head Mr. Eduardo Silva; Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President Rally E. Bustria; Mr. Johnny R. Pamuspusan; members of the Knight of Rizal and Kababaihang Rizalista; and descendants of Dr. Jose Rizal.

The commemoration will also feature a short program following the flag-raising ceremony and the invocation to be officiated by Rev. Msgr. Mario Rafael M. Castillo, Parish Priest of St. John the Baptist Parish. Mayor Roseller "Ros" H. Rizal will deliver the welcome remarks, while Councilor Maria Kathrina V. Silva will introduce the Guest of Honor. Senator Ejercito will then deliver his commemorative message.

The annual observance pays tribute to the life, works, and enduring legacy of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, whose patriotism and ideals continue to inspire the Filipino people.

Ang kasarinlang tinatamasa natin ngayon ay ipininta ng tapang ng ating mga bayani at isinulat gamit ang kanilang mga sakripisyo.

Dahil sa kanilang paninindigan, binigyan nila tayo ng karapatang malayang ihayag ang ating saloobin, lumikha, at ipagmalaki ang yaman ng ating pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

Mula sa ritmo ng ating mga katutubong sayaw hanggang sa bawat guhit ng ating mga modernong obra, ang ating sining at kultura ang buhay na patunay ng kalayaang kanilang ipinaglaban. Ang bawat likha ay alingawngaw ng ating kasaysayan.

Patuloy nating payabungin ang apoy ng ating kultura at pamanang lahi.

Maraming salamat sa bawat awit na inyong inialay, sa bawat kumpas na nagbigay-buhay sa entablado, at sa bawat talentong buong pusong ibinahagi ninyo sa samahan. Hindi lamang ninyo ipinakita ang husay sa sining, kundi pati ang dedikasyon, tiyaga, at pusong handang magbigay-inspirasyon sa iba.

Sa bawat ensayo, pagod, kaba, at tagumpay na ating pinagsaluhan, naging bahagi kayo ng mga alaala at kwentong mananatili sa puso ng organisasyon. Kayo ang naging ilaw at tinig ng sining—mga alagad na patuloy na nagbigay-kulay at buhay sa bawat pagtatanghal at pagkakataon.

Habang kayo’y tatahak sa panibagong yugto ng inyong buhay, nawa’y dalhin ninyo ang apoy ng sining saan man kayo dalhin ng inyong mga pangarap. Huwag ninyong kalilimutang ang talento at pusong mayroon kayo ay may kakayahang magbigay pag-asa, saya, at inspirasyon sa marami pang tao.
