The children of the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School enjoyed a special visit from Rabbi Eliezer Zwickler in honor of Shavuot. Each child was able to see both Ashkenazi and Sephardi Torahs and pointed out some of the similarities and differences in the Torahs. The children have been busy learning and preparing for Shavuot. Wishing a Chag Sameach to all!

Happy Memorial Day!

The Pre-K class of the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School released their butterflies today. After weeks of journaling the changes in the metamorphosis cycle, they learned that each stage looks completely different and serves a different purpose in the life of the insect. The children celebrated with a butterfly release party, where they wore beautifully painted wings and antennas and were cheered on by all their friends from the other classes.

The Pre-K class of the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School finished their year long ABC and Aleph Bet units. The children celebrated by baking cookies in the shape of the English and Hebrew letters in their names!
