With nearly 1,000 young artists from across the country taking part, the competition was incredibly strong. To stand out through multiple rounds of judging is not only a wonderful recognition of their artistic abilities, but also a beautiful reward for their dedication, patience, and love for art. 👏✨

🐇 Drawing a Little White Rabbit from Life: Discovering the Secret of Reflected Colors!

When your child draws a white rabbit, do they reach for pure white right away?
Red eyes, white fur… and done? 👀

But here’s the fun part: a rabbit’s white fur is its local color—the color it naturally has. Yet the colors around it can subtly “bounce” onto its fur, creating reflected or environmental color ✨

📝 Lesson 2 Focus:
✅ Understand the difference between local colorand environmental color
✅ Learn to observe how surrounding colors affect what we see

✨ Unlocking a new skill! ✅
My very first colored pencil lesson! 🎨

No masterpiece today—just practicing pencil control. Flat shading to build patience, gradients to get a feel for smooth transitions, and layering colors to discover a little bit of magic. 🌈

The biggest surprise? I actually worked from a real-life object! My lines are still a little shaky, but I feel like the way I observe the world has quietly started to change.

Can‘t wait to color with more confidence and freedom next time! 💛
