It was an honour to witness the inauguration of the Gandhi Smriti Art Gallery by Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, and to listen to the thought-provoking words of some of the most respected voices working towards peace, unity, and cultural harmony.

The evening was not just a gathering, but a soulful reminder of how dialogue, art, and leadership can shape a better tomorrow.

The evening was truly a divine confluence of devotion, art, and cultural legacy, brought alive by the mesmerizing performances of the disciples of India’s most revered dance maestros —
Padma Bhushan Dr Uma Sharma, Padma Shri Shovana Narayan, Padma Shri Nalini-Kamalini, Vishwadeep, Barun Banerjee, Dheerendra Tewari, Ajay Bhatt, Poornima Roy, Punita Sharma, Nishant & Vandana Gupta, and Ritu Gupta.

Their soulful renditions of Kathak and Bharatnatyam beautifully embodied the sacred Guru-Shishya parampara, echoing the timeless rhythm of tradition and grace.

We were deeply honoured by the presence of Shri Vijay Goel, Vice Chairman of Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti, who inaugurated the Mahotsav, and by esteemed guests Shri Prabhat Kumar, President, Sanskar Bharti (Delhi State), and Shri Anupam Bhatnagar, Akhil Bhartiya Mantri, Sanskar Bharti (Delhi), whose encouragement and blessings uplifted the entire celebration.

This historic evening would not have been possible without the love and support of our community. Thank you for being part of this journey in celebrating the eternal light of the Guru.
