CCRTA will meet Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11:30 at Mallards in Huntingdon. Guest speaker will be Trudy Radford who will discuss the work being done by "Shepherd's Table".

Just a reminder for CCRTA members. Membership fees are due this month. The total is $65 for non-life time members which is $35 national, $25 state, and $5 local. Please send the dues to Donna Ward at 38 Georgia Avenue, McKenzie, TN 38201 or pay them at the meeting on Friday, June 20. Thank you!

Carroll County Retired Teachers will meet Friday, March 21 at Mallards in Huntingdon. Focus of the meeting will be Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Brad Hurley who is the Carroll County Coordinator and Chamber of Commerce Director will be the guest speaker. Please remember to bring an item for our silent auction to benefit the Imagination Library.

CCRTA sponsored a table at the Beating Hearts Fundraiser. Six members and two guests enjoyed a meal and entertainment. We learned about many of the crisis intervention programs sponsored by the Beating Hearts Organization such as a prison outreach, support for those recovering from addictions as well as unexpected pregnancy and were introduced to several people who had completed one of the programs

Letter arrived today from pbi about TCRS data breach. Information about establishing free services for identity monitoring at no cost included in letter. The letter includes a membership number necessary for sign up.
