Just an FYI - unfortunately the city’s zoning laws will not allow for us to open a daycare in Kam Lake. This area will be off limits for the foreseeable future 😑

Who designed our logo?
🙌🏾 STEPHANIE 🙌🏾
She is a design genius. We gave her a vague description of what we were looking for, and she surpassed all of our expectations.
The coolest part, she did it all for FREE! She donated her time to our nonprofit association and created us an amazing logo - and more.

We appreciate your support so much! 💚
It might take us forever to get this new daycare open, but we are working away!
Here’s what we’re working on:

✅ Searching for a location
✅ Organizing banking business
✅ Learning from people who know what they’re doing

As a nonprofit business, we are applying for grants left, right, and center! Many of our grants require letters of support. This is where you come in!
If you think that adding an additional daycare facility to Yellowknife would be beneficial, please write us a letter of support.
Here’s how:

✔️Explain why you think Yellowknife needs a new daycare facility
✔️Explain why you support the development of Little Spruce Daycare

Cross your fingers that we get approval on many, many grants. We need all of the support that we can get!

Meet the Little Spruce team 👋🏼👋🏾
We are a group of educators, mothers, and Yellowknifers! We make up the Little Spruce Board of Directors.
We have all collectively struggled to find daycare, unexpectedly lost our daycare spots, or witnessed friends and family struggle to find reliable daycare options.
We decided to try to create a solution for families who are struggling just like us!
