Saturday was MKMA KARATES Grading day ....and what a fabulous turnout . The standard was incredible. All of the students demonstrated amazing passion and skill .
It's brilliant to see all of the students both adults and children growing in confidence with their techniques, introducing power, speed and accuracy while enjoying every moment of it. As your instructors, we are proud to have such an amazing group of students with such a huge potential. All of you are a pleasure to teach.

MKMA Karate Earns Silver “Regulation Ready” Award from the BMABA for Excellence in Governance and Safety
MKMA Karate is proud to announce that we have achieved the Silver Regulation Ready Award, awarded by the British Martial Arts & Boxing Association (BMABA) — a prestigious recognition that highlights our club’s commitment to the highest standards of governance and safeguarding.
Regulation Ready, delivered by the BMABA, holds martial arts clubs to rigorous standards of compliance, leadership, and integrity. The accreditation process involves thorough checks across every aspect of club operations — from clearly defined leadership roles and robust safeguarding measures to transparent policies and effective communication.
Earning the Silver Award demonstrates that MKMA Karate has met or exceeded nationally recognised expectations in safety, transparency, and operational integrity. This achievement confirms that our students, parents, and the wider community can have complete confidence that MKMA is run with professionalism, accountability, and care.
At MKMA, we believe martial arts training goes beyond physical skill — it builds respect, discipline, and community. Achieving the Silver Regulation Ready Award from the BMABA reinforces our dedication to providing a trusted, safe, and supportive environment for everyone who trains with us.
We’re incredibly proud of our team, instructors, and members who contributed to reaching this milestone, and we remain committed to continuous improvement as we move forward.
